Pilar Boyle
Actress - Director - Screenwriter
My name is Pilar Boyle, a Latin American actress, filmmaker, and screenwriter.
Born and raised in Argentina, but living around the globe.
I began my journey as a performer on stage, and acting remains at the heart of everything I do.
Over time, I expanded into filmmaking and writing, driven by a desire to build my own worlds, poetic, visceral, and strange language.
My work often explores themes like memory, transformation, and human behaviour.
I'm drawn to the blurry edges, between genres, identities, and realities. I believe in creating from that in-between space wheres mistery resides.

The journey, which would prove crucial for the development of his later theories, gave him the opportunity to meet the already famous Juan Manuel de Rosas, who at the time was leading a campaign against the “infidel” during the critical period between his two terms in office.

T h e a t e r

I’m an actress with a strong foundation in acting and actor directing, and I like to think of myself as an actress who also directs. I believe that true connection with the actor’s body and emotions is essential for powerful storytelling, on stage and on screen.
With over 20 years of professional experience, I've worked across theater in about 35 plays, film, and television, always driven by curiosity, sensitivity, and commitment to the craft.
